Viewing your claimed NFT!

Now that you’ve collected your first NFT (yay!), you will want to know how to see it! There are a few steps involved, but it isn’t difficult.

First, make sure you are signed into the Kukai wallet you created and leave that tab open in your browser.

Second, go to objkt.com and click on “sync” in the upper-right-hand corner of the browser window:

You will be asked to choose your preferred wallet. CLick on “Kukai Wallet.” This will trigger a new tab to open with Kukai. Make sure you have any content or pop-up blockers turned off on the browser you are using, or else nothing will happen. You should see a permission request pop-up on your Kukai tab:

When you click “APPROVE” you will see another pop-up to “Sign Message.” This is activating the transaction on the blockchain, connecting your wallet with objkt.com. Always be careful when signing anything on the blockchain if you continue to use your wallet. If you are interested, please reach out and I’d be happy to chat with you about it! Right now you have nothing to worry about, because you only have one NFT & haven’t put any money in your wallet!

Click “Sign.” You will be prompted to verify the Google or social media account you used to sign up for the Kukai wallet.

You are now synced to objkt.com! Go back to your objkt.com tab. In the upper-right-hand corner you will now see a silly cat icon where “sync” used to be.

Click on “Profile.” You will see your wallet address and a lot of tabs. Go to the “Owned” tab and you should see the NFT!

If you click on the NFT item, it will take you to the work. You will see that in the Properties panel on the right-hand side, it shows that you own 1 edition of the work.

And now you have your very first NFT! If you are ever interested in collecting other artworks or learning more about NFTs, I am obviously thrilled to onboard new people. If not, no worries at all! You know have an NFT. Tell you friends. 😊 You can also follow me on Twitter (for as long as it survives) and/or Instagram to keep up with my art practice, if you’re interested. Thank you for taking the time to engage with what I’ve been up to! I hope you enjoy the work (both physical and digital!). 💙
